If you've been approved for a Home Care Package before 12 , you're considered a grandfathered participant in the new Support At Home scheme.
The good news is that your funding level and support will remain largely the same even when the new Support At Home system begins on 1 July 2025. At this tiem, you will be automatically transitioned to to the new scheme.
However, some things are changing under the new Support At Home Scheme that may affect you, including additonal funding that is available for assisitive technology and restoriative care, and there may be some of your current services that reclassified.
