Get the support you need
Our Free Care Program offers up to 12 weeks of home care support at no cost, designed for people who’ve been waiting more than six months for their Home Care Package.
We know how stressful and exhausting it can feel when help is delayed, so this program steps in to ease the load.
From cleaning and meals to shopping and laundry, we’re here to make daily life a little easier.
It’s our way of giving back to the community we’ve proudly supported for over 45 years.
Light cleaning duties, such a vacuuming, mopping the floor, or cleaning surfaces.
Help with washing your laundry and folding clothes.
Our Care Companions can help you collect your food shopping, or do it for you.
Need a hand in the kitchen? We can help you meal prep your food, or cook for you.
Looking for someone to keep you company? Our Care Companions can offer friendly conversation and emotional support.
The aged care system was really overwhelming me after I had my brain operation. I was really lucky that Narelle from Sai introduced me to the Free Care Program.
Since then, my support worker Jess has been great. She's been helping with things, like washing, changing the bed, and reorganising cupboards, while still involving me so I feel part of everything.
She’s also guided me through the system, eased stress on my family, and the chats we have mean the world.
Sai has stayed in regular contact, and they're probably the only Home Care Provider that's actually offered help. Even if it wasn’t free, I’d still be thrilled. Their care has been second to none.

The sign-up for the Free Care Program was so simple. Narelle brought the paperwork out, we sat down with a cup of tea, and we signed it then and there.
It really is a brilliant idea. If you can’t get that help, it feels overwhelming — like nothing is ever going to happen. This program takes away that feeling.
Before, I was caring for my husband on top of everything, and it was exhausting. Now, I can still do a little bit myself, but having support makes such a difference.
It’s amazing to know there’s someone out there who actually wants to help you. I’d say to anyone waiting for their package: give it a go. It’s a brilliant program.”
