Sai Home and Community Care is an innovative service that ensures all of the individual needs of clients are taken care of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide carers that are fully qualified to support the elderly and people with disabilities, with customer service that will exceed your expectations. We encourage you to maintain your independence, dignity and stay in the comfort of your own home for as long as it is safe to do so.

Sai Home and Community Care is owned and managed by Registered Nurses with extensive experience in the Aged and Disability services. We are energetic, passionate, and respectful towards varying cultures and needs, and we are committed to providing the best care possible to our clients; enabling them to live independently in their own home and to remain part of their community.

To provide a professional service, it is necessary to employ a team of highly skilled people with positive attitudes, who believe in the care that they provide and have a desire for lifelong learning. We have a dedicated training and development team, which enables us to provide ongoing training to our staff, ensuring best practice outcomes.

Our care also extends to the families of all of our clients. We understand how worrying it can be to have a loved one in need of additional support. We hold regular family support meetings so that you have the opportunity to meet other families in similar situations. We ensure that we are available to talk directly with you or over the phone to the families of our clients, so that you are involved and kept completely informed of our care for your loved ones.

We specialise in working with people with disability, dementia, veterans and their families, those who are indigenous and people from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds. We also are proud to support people who identify as being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex.

Our Story

Sai Home & Community Care was founded by two nurses with the vision of providing leadership and innovation in the aged and disability care sectors.

Over four decades Nina and Upali have been synonymous with excellence and best practice in aged and disability care.

Our team of qualified carers are carefully screened and selected for their passion to provide you with service and excellence. Staff undergo mandatory ongoing training and have equipped themselves with contemporary skills. They are supported by a dedicated management team of passionate experts in aged and disability care.

Before joining SAI , Norbert was the CEO of Enrich Health Group; an integrated, multidisciplinary Community Health Organisation operating across Australia with investments in New Zealand. Prior to that he had leadership roles across the Health sector in private and not-for-profit organisations.

CHRISTINE TULLY

Senior Home Care Packages Client Manager

Christine is a highly experienced Home Care Packages Manager with a nursing background and a passion for supporting older Australians to live in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. With extensive experience in care management, relationship management, and fast-paced intake management, Christine has built a dynamic skillset across the home care sector.

Her exposure to various care environments has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the needs of older Australians, enabling her to provide exceptional service to clients and their families. Christine is committed to ensuring that local people have access to the support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life.

MATT RIGBY

NDIS Operations Manager

Matt is a highly skilled NDIS Operations Manager with extensive experience working with NDIS participants. With a background in psychosocial recovery coaching and as a local area coordinator, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Matt is passionate about supporting NDIS participants to connect with the supports and services funded in their plans, as well as implementing capacity building strategies to help participants build independence. He is dedicated to ensuring that participants receive the highest quality of care, while also working closely with support workers to ensure they have the necessary training and support to deliver exceptional service.

JAGADEESAN SIVASANKARAN

Rostering Manager

Jagadeesan is an experienced Rostering Manager with a passion for supporting aged care and disability clients. With a background that includes roles as a rostering coordinator, disability and home care worker, and local business owner, Jagadeesan brings a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to his work. He is dedicated to connecting clients with high-quality, local support workers who can provide the necessary care and support for clients to live independent lives at home and in the community.

JOANNE WANG

Head of Quality

Recognised as an emerging and award-winning national leader in the aged care sector, Joanne brings extensive experience from roles in Registered Nursing, Quality & Clinical Management and COVID response in both community and residential aged care. Her passion is in embedding strong quality practices in the day-to-day operations of care businesses to drive changes and improve clients’ and staff’s experiences.

Lucinda comes from a background of both government and care work, always around the health industry and in roles facilitating internal culture and employee growth.

Joel uses his accounting and commercial experience to identify opportunities and drive business outcomes having formally come from various accountancy-related positions to now manage finance in care.

Matthew comes from more than a decade of experience in care, having previous roles as Marketing Coordinator and leader. He started his career as a disability support worker so understands first hand client and industry needs in care.
